Original task:
In 2017, VGTRK technical specialists asked us about a compact and inexpensive solution for organizing a police recording system in regional VGTRK units. The main requirement is to record up to 4 SDI channels and 3 IP streams based on a standard medium-performance workstation. The cost of the kit should not exceed 200,000 rubles.
Our solution:
Based on the initial conditions, we created a separate Micro-TVM product, which we deployed on small workstations from HP Inc. For a more detailed analysis of on-air failures, in addition to the requested functionality, we suggested adding the ability to record up to 3 channels of service conversations (audio). As a result, we have the following set of licenses: 4 SDI, 3 IP streams and 3 audio.
By 2019, we have installed the Micro-TVM system in more than 14 VGTRK divisions: Alania, Belgorod, Cherkessk, Orel, Veliky Novgorod, Lipetsk, Kostroma, Nazran, Maykop, Kirov, Ryazan, Ivanovo, Vladimir, Astrakhan.
